PROGRAMME OF EVENTS FOR 2019

All meetings will take place at Bury St Edmunds Library, Sergeants Walk, St Andrews Street North, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. IP33 1TZ. Telephone number 01284 338830. Meeting Times are 2-4pm in the winter months (when the clocks go back) and 2.30-4.30pm during British Summer Time. Visitors wishing to attend are very welcome and should arrive 10 minutes before start time.

23 April              St Georges Day Buffet Lunch, the Cedars Hotel, Stowmarket 10.30-3.30pm
The speaker will be Fred Rapsey who will be talking on St George, members to bring an item related to Heraldry and talk for five minutes about it. Book Sale and Word Search.

9 May                 John & Jane Tunesi 2.30pm-4.30pm   All about the Heraldry Society        

13 June               David Broomfield 2.30pm-4.30pm  Scandals of the British Peerage

Tuesday
2 July                Visit to Ely Cathedral, Cambridgeshire to view their Heraldry collection.
Our guide will be Chloe Cockerill who will begin at 1pm. Places are limited so will need to book with SHS beforehand)

12 September     Gerry de Roeper 2.30pm-4.30pm Topic TBA

10 October         Dr. Andrew Gray 2.30-4.30pm No King of England if not King of France
